what kind of softball...?
okay well im starting softball at school monday and i got NO idea what equipment i need. like i got the shoes and clothes but i dont know about mitts/gloves. im gunna be new to this so i have no idea what kind of position im playing. so mitts or gloves? what size fits most? etc etc
well for an indoor practice you would need: shorts (basketball, or softball shorts with sock w.e your comfy in) running shoes, your glove, maybe a helmet and a bat?
For outdoor practice you would need: Cleats (shoes with spikes to grip the ground) Softball Shorts, sliders (they go under you shorts to protect your thighs when you slide), a sliding pad (to protect your knee and leg) long socks to avoid scratching up your legs. As for gloves you are probably around 13 so you would need about a 12.5-13 inch glove. Make sure it is a SOFTBALL glove because they look similar to baseball gloves except the web (the part that looks knitted) is bigger to accommodate the size of a softball. As for a helmet, if this is a school team you will need to buy a helmet with a face mask as well as a chin strap. And for bats you would need to measure how the bat feels but i am only 4'11 and i find a 31-33 inch bat work best for me.

rhetoric: “Politics is not a career. My life’s passion has been my family, my
faith, and my country.” Gingrich parried: “Can we drop a little bit of the
pious baloney? The fact is, you ran for Senate in 1994 and lost … you were
running for president while you were governor. You’ve been running
consistently for years and years. Just level with the American people. You’ve
been running at least since the mid-1990s.”
