Top Accessories For Preventing Scratches On The Dell Venue Pro
Of all the new Windows Phone 7 devices on the market, the Dell Venue Pro is among the most popular. A big part of that success is the Venue Pro’s aesthetics. From its stunning 4.1-inch display to its sleek and stylish body, the Venue Pro screams for attention. Just like all phones, this one is also prone to damage because it will constantly be used. So this article examines the products available on the market for fixing and preventing scratches to the Dell Venue Pro.
Since it comes with many innovative features the Dell Venue Pro is one of the hottest smart phones on the market. But some might argue that it’s not the performance but rather the aesthetics that are the key to this device’s success. And it’s hard to argue with that point when you consider the Dell Venue Pro’s stunning 4.1-inch AMOLED display and its overall sleek and sexy design. In fact, the Venue Pro is so good looking that it puts a lot of pressure on owners to keep it looking that way. So without further ado, let’s examine the Dell Venue Pro accessories that are available for protecting and even fixing your smart phone.
Cases are some of the most popular accessories on the market for protecting your Dell Venue Pro for good reason. They allow for personalization, are relatively inexpensive, and they provide both shock absorption and scratch resistance. The most popular style of case is the glove, which slips over the entire unit and are available with and without screen protection. Cases without screen protection allow you to choose what type of protection you use, which is especially convenient for those whose need a thicker cover, such as when using a stylus. Another option is a holster-style case, which only protects your phone while you’re carrying it, such as on a belt.
When it comes to protecting your screen from scratches, a Dell Venue Pro screen protector is the best investment you can make. The three common styles are screen-only, two-piece and glove. Gloves are a lot like cases except that they’re clear and typically thinner than a case. They offer greater flexibility but do not offer much protection against shock. A screen-only protector is an excellent option if you want to use it in combination with a Dell Venue Pro case. A two-piece screen protector will the front and the back but will leave the edges exposed. Some users find these easier to hold.
Skins and pouches are also a great alternative to a case. Skins attempt to provide the best aspects of cases and screen protectors. Skins tend to cover the full body of the phone. Pouches are a good alternative to a case if you want protection while transporting, such as keeping the Dell Venue Pro in a purse or briefcase. There are even some cool pouches that have holsters and allow the user to wear them like a holster. And a high-quality pouch with padding is an excellent form of shock protection.
But what if your Dell Venue Pro already has scratches? Well, if the scratch is on the screen and shallow, using a quality screen protector like the Skinomi Tech-Skin will often hide it. Another possibility is to buff it out with toothpaste, which works reasonably well on light scratches. If the scratch is far too deep than maybe a LCD screen cleaner might do the trick. If the scratches are on the body, then you can purchase a scratch remover pen, such as those that are available for minor automotive work.
Which glove? TPX Pro Flare or Wilson A200 1796-B?
I'm shopping for a new glove for my freshman season. right now im between these two- http://www.wilson.com/wilson/baseball/prodflash.jsp?CONTENT%3C%3Ecnt_id=10134198674004780&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302759703 and -http://slugger.com/baseball/fielding_gloves/pro-flare/fl1177.html
ive had experience with both brands. from what i hear, the pro flare is very hard to break in, but i love the flare, and leather type. however the a200 i hear is a dream ot break in, yet is very expensive. any help is appreciated
I've had many brands, but I always go back to Wilson. Wilson makes great gloves, and the A2000 is amazing. I'd reccomend this glove over almost any other, it's very easy to break in and just an all around great glove. You won't be dissapointed(and it's worth the price).
