We Women Would Love to See a Cure for Cellulite!
If there is one thing in the world that women agree on, it's that they can't stand cellulite.. Cellulite is that ugly, dimple-like appearance on the thighs and upper legs. Sometimes, women get it on their tummy and on their arms. It resembles cottage cheese or an orange peel. There are a lot of theories about what causes cellulite. Some speculate that metabolism, genetics and/or hormones generate cellulite. Others blame it on unhealthy eating habits and inactivity. When it comes down to it, no one knows for sure what creates cellulite.
Many women are not that concerned about what causes cellulite -- they just want to get rid of it.
In a perfect world, there'd be a magic cream or anti-cellulite pill that POOF! Once taken, would get rid of cellulite once and for all.
Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect universe.
From the home treatments such as using coffee grounds and lemon juice, to formulas like Revitol created by researchers and doctors, there are a number of supposed cures for cellulite available. A cure is best found when the treatment includes the complete body and not just one feature. For example, favorable health behaviors involve the entire body. This includes drinking a lot of water, and decreasing coffee and alcohol consumption. The whole body method also includes eating healthy, and replacing junk foods and fattening foods with fresh fruits and vegetables. Exercise is also a component of the whole body treatment.
Beyond that, specific cures for cellulite include topical therapies, such as lotions, creams, and gels. The maker might say that these are "cures for cellulite," but the jury is out on that one. These products can help reduce the appearance of cellulite, but they might not get rid of it totally.
Anti-cellulite creams, lotions and gels generally include a blend of natural and formulated ingredients, maltodextrine, and caffeine. These cures for cellulite can be found at any drugstore and are occasionally cheaper online. The price range is normally around twenty dollars to seventy dollars per bottle. The really good ones, like Revitol, come with a guarantee.
If you are using a lotion, gel or cream, you probably will not experience a total cure for cellulite unless you also add exercise and a good diet to your treatment. One thing you might want to do is to get in the habit of exercising and stretching everyday, then rubbing on a good anti-cellulite cream after your shower or bath.
Body wraps and massagers are an additional "cure for cellulite" some women insist work. Theses remedies concentrate on stimulating the blood circulation in the affected area and getting rid of toxic buildup. There are do-it-yourself body wrap kits and massagers. It is not too complicated to give yourself a cellulite reduction massage. Spas, beauty shops, and skin specialists also offer these services.
Regardless of whether the cure involves home remedies or over the counter cures for cellulite, there are some things to remember. First, be patient. Rubbing a gel on the affected area will not magically make the cellulite disappear overnight. Second, know that you will need to make some lifestyle modifications in conjunction with the cellulite remedy. This means healthy eating and exercise.
What is better, gel wraps or acrylic nails?
Well I guess we all would like to have long beautiful looking nails but artifical is not the answer. You could be asking for trouble, I've seen it on friends and it's not pretty. On QVC they have 2 products, one is called Pro Strong and the other is called Tips. That is the way I would go, they work well. I like Tips, try them both to see which is best for you but I would stay away from the artificial stuff, natural is always best. Also take the vitamins for skin, hair and nails and also gelatin too.
